The Egyptian Committee for Relief and Support of the Palestinian People is implementing the campaign "Hearts Beyond Borders", which was launched from the city of Rafah. Today, the committee held a coordination meeting with the Khan Yunis Municipality to begin distributing food and relief parcels to affected families in the city, as part of an extensive plan covering various governorates in the Gaza Strip.
During the meeting, mechanisms for joint fieldwork were discussed, and precise arrangements were set to ensure that aid reaches the beneficiaries quickly and efficiently, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation between local institutions and the Egyptian Committee to maximize the effectiveness of the campaign’s operations.
The committee praised the results of fruitful cooperation with the Rafah Municipality over the past few days, which made a significant difference in facilitating and organizing distribution operations, enabling field teams to reach tens of thousands of families in record time.
The committee also confirmed that the campaign will continue in the coming days to cover the central and northern governorates of the Gaza Strip, noting that distribution is not limited to food parcels only but also includes tents, shelters, mats, and winter blankets in various areas, as part of Egypt’s efforts to support the Palestinian people during the winter.
The Egyptian Committee affirms that its humanitarian efforts will not stop and that field operations will continue at an increasing pace, stemming from its national role and humanitarian responsibility toward the brothers in Gaza who are facing difficult humanitarian conditions.
