The Egyptian Committee for the Relief of the People of Gaza announced that it has reached an advanced stage in its food distribution campaign across the Gaza Strip, having delivered over 500,000 food baskets by early October 2025, as part of urgent efforts to ease the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
The Committee added that its centers in Khan Younis and the Central Governorate have also distributed around 200,000 additional food boxes, containing essential items such as flour, rice, sugar, tea, and other daily necessities.
In an official statement, a Committee representative explained that the distribution process is carried out through a network of local leaders and neighborhood representatives to ensure that aid reaches the most affected families, while preserving their dignity throughout the process.
Currently, food baskets are being distributed through the Committee’s centers across the Strip, as well as the camps and shelters established by the Committee, within the framework of a comprehensive national plan aimed at strengthening the resilience of the Palestinian people and supporting them amid the ongoing hardships.
