From the first day of the opening of the Rafah border crossing, the Egyptian committee welcomed travellers returning to the Gaza Strip from Egypt, including patients and wounded persons who had completed their treatment in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The Egyptian committee's teams worked tirelessly, day and night, to receive them and provide them with immediate support, demonstrating their active presence on the ground and their firm commitment to securing basic needs and alleviating the suffering of the people in the difficult circumstances there.
