The Egyptian Committee for the Relief of the People of Gaza has begun today distributing the first batch of relief aid to residents of the northern Gaza Strip, in a humanitarian step aimed at alleviating the suffering of citizens affected by the recent events.
The aid included food parcels, drinking water, and blankets, which were distributed to the most needy families in various areas of the northern Strip, in cooperation with volunteers and local organizations to ensure that assistance reaches those who deserve it.
The Egyptian Committee affirmed that this campaign comes in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to intensify Egypt’s humanitarian efforts inside the Gaza Strip, noting that the distribution process will continue in the coming days to cover the largest possible number of families.
The Committee also explained that its field teams are working according to a comprehensive plan to provide ongoing food and medical assistance, as part of Egypt’s continuous support for the Palestinian people
