The Egyptian Committee for the Relief of the People of Gaza Dispatches 100-Truck Convoy to Transport Displaced Residents
On October 12, 2025, the Egyptian Committee for the Relief of the People of Gaza dispatched a convoy of 100 trucks designated for transporting displaced residents from southern Gaza to the northern parts of the Strip, as part of Egypt’s ongoing efforts to alleviate the suffering of civilians and facilitate their movement following the cessation of military operations.
The trucks departed from gathering areas in southern Gaza, heading toward the north to transport residents wishing to return to their homes after months of displacement due to the war.
This step comes within the framework of a comprehensive Egyptian humanitarian plan aimed at gradually restoring life to northern Gaza and ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid and essential supplies to the population there.
The Committee affirmed that the transport operation was carried out under the direct supervision of Egyptian field teams operating inside Gaza, and in coordination with local authorities, to ensure the organized movement of trucks and the safety of citizens throughout the relocation process.
