As part of its ongoing humanitarian interventions, the Egyptian Committee distributed quantities of fresh fruits today to families residing in Al-Maqousi Camp No. (12) and (13), within its efforts to meet basic nutritional needs and support the resilience of camp residents.
This intervention comes in response to the growing needs of affected families and the difficult living conditions faced by camp residents, as providing fresh food contributes to improving health and nutritional conditions, especially for children and the elderly.
The Egyptian Committee’s field teams carried out the distribution process according to organized mechanisms that ensure assistance reaches eligible families, while adhering to standards of dignity and safety during implementation.
The Egyptian Committee confirmed that this activity is part of a series of relief interventions it continuously implements in camps and shelter centers, which include the distribution of basic food items and emergency aid, based on accurate field assessments of residents’ needs.
The Egyptian Committee reiterates its commitment to continuing humanitarian work and intensifying its relief efforts, in cooperation with its partners, in order to alleviate the suffering of affected families and enhance their ability to remain resilient under the current circumstances.
