Egyptian Committee Launches Educational Centres to Support Vulnerable Children in the Gaza Strip

As part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts, the Egyptian Committee has launched educational centres in the Gaza Strip to support children affected by difficult humanitarian conditions and to promote their right to education amid the recent disruption of schooling.
These educational centers have been set up to provide children with safe, well-structured environments that prioritize both learning and psychosocial support, shielding them from the daily pressures they face.
The educational centres target various age groups of children, offering them foundational educational programs that include essential lessons alongside learning and recreational activities. In addition, psychological support sessions are provided to alleviate the effects of trauma and enhance stability.
The Committee emphasized that the launch of these educational centres forms part of its broader humanitarian approach, supporting children’s educational and psychosocial needs alongside other essential relief efforts, recognizing that access to learning is crucial for resilience and the future.
The Committee added that efforts are underway to expand the educational centres in the upcoming phase, aiming to reach a larger number of children across the Gaza Strip, in line with existing needs.
