The Egyptian Committee has launched Phase Two of the “Hearts Across Borders” campaign in the Gaza Strip, rolling out a large-scale food assistance operation in Khan Yunis Governorate. Under this phase, the Committee is distributing 90,000 sacks of flour and 270,000 cans of meat through 29 strategically designated points, ensuring broad geographic coverage and equitable access for vulnerable populations confronting acute food insecurity.
The Egyptian Committee emphasized that this phase represents a continuation of Egypt’s humanitarian relief efforts aimed at supporting affected communities and alleviating the humanitarian crisis through well-coordinated distribution mechanisms.
To streamline access to humanitarian aid, the Egyptian Committee has launched a dedicated online platform, allowing residents to register, verify their information, and locate their assigned distribution points, thereby ensuring a coordinated and orderly delivery process while mitigating crowding and logistical challenges.
The Committee has also activated a dedicated 24-hour support line to manage registration requests, inquiries, and feedback, ensuring immediate follow-up and providing comprehensive, life-saving assistance to the residents of Khan Yunis.
The Egyptian Committee confirmed that subsequent phases of the campaign will roll out in the coming period, highlighting the launch of the second phase of the “Hearts Across Borders” initiative in Khan Yunis, further reinforcing its humanitarian mandate and unwavering commitment to provide all forms of essential assistance to the people of the Gaza Strip.
