The Egyptian Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza continues its field efforts around the clock to establish new shelter camps in the northern and western parts of Gaza City. This initiative is part of an urgent plan aimed at providing safe housing for families who lost their homes due to the ongoing aggression.
The Egyptian engineering teams are working at full capacity to carry out construction works at record speed, including preparing the infrastructure and providing essential services, in preparation for receiving hundreds of affected families as soon as possible.
The Committee affirmed that this step comes in implementation of the directives of the Egyptian leadership and reflects Egypt’s continued commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and alleviating their humanitarian suffering. The new camps will be equipped with protection against cold and rain, and will ensure the provision of children’s and women’s needs as part of the ongoing relief efforts.
