The Egyptian Committee for the Relief and Support of the Palestinian People continues its field operations in the Palestinian city of Rafah for the second consecutive day, as part of its major humanitarian initiative, "Hearts Across Borders", which aims to alleviate the suffering of affected families in the Gaza Strip and provide their basic needs.
On the second day of the campaign, the committee's teams intensified their efforts to distribute thousands of comprehensive food and hygiene parcels through 17 main distribution centers across the city of Rafah, all operating continuously to ensure aid reaches the largest number of families in need.
The distribution operations are carried out in coordination with the heads of Palestinian families, where each head receives the parcels designated for their family and delivers them directly to its members, ensuring transparency and fairness under the direct field supervision of representatives from the Egyptian Committee.
The committee confirmed that the current phase of the campaign is witnessing an expansion of field operations to include new areas within Rafah, paving the way to extend to other governorates of the Gaza Strip in the coming days, as part of Egypt’s ongoing efforts to support and assist the Palestinian people in overcoming difficult humanitarian conditions.
The campaign bears the humanitarian title "Hearts Across Borders", embodying the deep solidarity between the Egyptian and Palestinian peoples, and conveying a message of love and generosity from Egypt to Gaza, reflecting Cairo’s steadfast commitment to stand by the Palestinian people in all circumstances.
